There are good public transport links for the Aldershot centre for health provided by buses stopping along Queens road and signposted for Hospital road. Route 1 is operated by Stagecoach gold between Aldershot and Camberley. Both bus stops have shelters and seating for four people.

Car park and drop off

The Aldershot centre for health has a large multi-story pay and display visitors car park. The majority of the car parks entrance level is dedicated to accessible and parent with child parking spaces which provide level access to the main entrance. There are 14 dedicated accessible spaces and approximately another 10 dual use accessible/parent spaces available. The car park is level and constructed on a firm base. It is possible to drop off directly outside the main centre entrance in a designated drop off bay.

The main entrance into the centre has an automatic sliding door. The areas immediately adjacent to the entrance and from the visitors car park are relatively level however, visitors may wish to note that the centre is on a sloping site with relatively steep inclines up from the main road.

Reception

The reception area for the children's services and CAMHS are located on the third floor of the centre. The reception counter has a large accessible section and an induction loop is available to visitors. There is a seated waiting area with seating in a range of styles available to suit most visitors.

Facilities

The CAMHS department benefits from an accessible toilet facility which is fitted with grab rails and an assistance alarm. There are also baby changing units available.

Access to all areas

Access around the centre is good with generous circulation and good use of colours to provide visual contrasts. A lift or alternative stairs are provided for access to all floors. The main entry level into the centre is on level 2, with the children's services located on the third floor and well signposted.
